CONGRATULATIONS TO READING ARCHERY JOAD (JUNIOR OLYMPIC ARCHERY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM), THE RECIPIENT OF $315.00, A PORTION OF OUR PROFITS THIS YEAR.  THIS MONEY WILL HELP THE KIDS OFFSET COSTS FOR TOURNAMENTS, EQUIPMENT AND ENTRY FEES.

FITA Archers of Pennsylvania is hosting this year’s Pennsylvania State FITA Double "900" Championship.

The shoot will consist of archers shooting a total of thirty arrows at each of three distances per day:

Archer, Senior, Master I, Master II and Master III shoot 40 yards, 50 yards, and 60 yards.
Cadets shoot 30 yards, 40 yards, 50 yards.
Cubs shoot 20 yards, 30 yards, 40 yards.
Bowman shoot  20 yards, 25 yards, 30 yards.
Yeoman shoot  15 yards, 20 yards, 25 yards.

Age groups are: Yeoman ( to age 8 ) Bowman ( to age 12 ) Cub ( to age 14 ) Cadet ( to age 16 ) Archer ( to age 18 ) Senior ( to age 49 ) Master 1 ( 50-59 ) Master 2 (60-69 ) and Master 3 ( 70 & over ).

 
The archer with the highest total of points from both days will be the winner.

Divisions include male and female barebow, recurve, compound, and crossbow.

**NEW** for 2010 - Compound Hunter (Fixed Pins, no longer than 12" stabilizer)

Poundages for all divisions not to exceed 60 lbs.

 AWARDS: City Plaque, Silver, Bronze medals.

LOCATION: Cedar Beach (west of the Rose Garden Pavilion)

SCHEDULE: Open Practice: Friday 2 p.m.; Competition: Saturday 10 a.m.- Sunday 9 a.m.

ENTRY FEE: $25.00. Deadline for registration postmarked by 6/31/10. Late registration add $5.00 AFTER 6/31/10.

Friday: Practice 2:00pm

We are always looking for volunteers to help setup and tear down the fields.  Usually the field is set up on Friday in the morning around 9 am.  Any help would be appreciated.
